LOCATION - Lat 41°27'31.7", long 78°03'42.4" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Cameron County, PA, Hydrologic Unit 02050202, at Sinnemahoning State Park.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 102 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening 57 ft, bottom of last opening 102 ft. Drilled observation well, cased to 57 ft, open hole.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 1,007 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: top of casing; MODIFIED DATE FOR AQ MIGRATION; 10/ /1967, 3.07 ft above land-surface datum, Jun. 1, 1967 to Jan. 2, 1984; top of shelter platform, 3.1 ft above land-surface datum, Jan. 1, 1985 to Jan. 1, 1994; top of shelter platform, 3.04 ft above land-surface datum, Jan. 1, 1994 to present. Elevation of land surface is from Lidar.
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1967 to current year.
GAGE - Data collection platform with 15-minute recording interval. Iridium satellite telemetry at station.
COOPERATION - Site maintained in cooperation with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and the U.S. Geological Survey.
REMARKS - Water levels reported Apr. 1-8, 1993 affected by surface-water impounded by George B. Stevenson Dam (wellhead submerged April 3). Water levels are affected by nearby intermittent pumping. Daily maximum water levels are available for this well for the period of record. For some years, daily minimum and daily mean water levels may also be available from the USGS Pennsylvania Water Science Center Office.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Prior to October 2000, the extremes shown were based on extremes of the daily maximum depth below land-surface datum. Since that date, the extremes are based on the instantaneous depth below land-surface datum. Highest water level, 3.21 ft above land-surface datum, Apr. 3, 1993 (see Remarks); lowest, 25.98 ft below land-surface datum, Sept. 10, 1972.
