LOCATION - Lat 40°46'18", long 98°50'44" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SW 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.01, T.9 N., R.14 W., Buffalo County, NE, Hydrologic Unit 10200102, 1.3 mile north of the intersection of Route 30 and the North-South range-line road on the east side of Gibbon, then 0.5 mile west on section-line road. Owner: U.S. Geological Survey.
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR-US-2007: 2005-2006 (Extremes for Period of Record).
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 38 ft. Upper casing diameter 8 in; top of first opening undefined, bottom of last opening undefined.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 2,060.43 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: MP is the east side 8" casing, 0.80 ft above land-surface datum, Jul. 26, 1946 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - July 1946 to current year.
REMARKS - Water levels in well are affected by pumpage from nearby irrigation wells.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level, 10.89 feet below land surface datum, July 14, 1999; lowest, 29.22 feet below land surface datum, August 10, 1980.
