LOCATION - Lat 40°26'42.4", long 75°15'01.6" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Bucks County, PA, Hydrologic Unit 02040105, at Nockamixon State Park.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 116 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening 27 ft, bottom of last opening 116 ft. Drilled observation well.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 487 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: top of casing; MODIFIED DATE FOR AQ MIGRATION; 02/16/1969, 1.05 ft above land-surface datum, Jun. 27, 1967 to Mar. 17, 1980; top of plywood shelf; MODIFIED DATE FOR AQ MIGRATION; 03/17/1980, 3.0 ft above land-surface datum, Jun. 27, 1967 to Oct. 7, 2017; top of plywood shelf includes differences with old LSD, 17.03 ft above land-surface datum, Oct. 7, 2017 to present. Prior to Mar 17, 1980, top of casing, 1.05 ft above land-surface datum. Prior to June 1970, land surface datum was approximately 16 feet lower. Elevation of land surface is from Lidar.
PERIOD OF RECORD - November 1967 to current year.
GAGE - Data collection platform with 15-minute recording interval since April 2023; prior, 60-minute recording interval. Satellite telemetry at station.
COOPERATION - Site maintained in cooperation with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and the U.S. Geological Survey.
REMARKS - Daily maximum water levels are available for this well for the period of record. For some years, daily minimum and daily mean water levels may also be available from the USGS Pennsylvania Water Science Center Office.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Prior to October 2000, the extremes were based on extremes of the daily maximum depth below land-surface datum. Since that date, the extremes are based on the instantaneous depth below land-surface datum. Highest water level, 34.61 ft below land-surface datum, Mar 22, 2019; lowest, 59.75 ft below land-surface datum, Nov 26, 1968.
