LOCATION - Lat 38°56'07", long 74°55'56" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, West Cape May Borough, Cape May County, NJ, Hydrologic Unit 02040302, on the north side of Sunset Blvd.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 293 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening 283 ft, bottom of last opening 293 ft. Drilled artesian well.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 6.60 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Front edge of cut out in pvc housing, 2.88 ft above land-surface datum, May 12, 1977, to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 1957 to current year.
GAGE - Submersible logger pressure transducer-60 minute recording interval. Water-level extremes recorder, May 1977 to March 2005. Periodic measurements, August 1975 to May 1977. Water-level recorder, June 1957 to August 1975.
REMARKS - Water level is affected by tidal fluctuation and nearby pumping.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level, 8.93 ft below land surface datum, between Mar 17, and Jun 14, 2000; lowest, 41.30 ft below land surface datum, Sep 3, 1963.
