GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 222 ft. Upper casing diameter 4 in; top of first opening 202 ft, bottom of last opening 222 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 13 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: TOP OF CASING, 1.93 ft above land-surface datum, Oct. 15, 1997 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - March 1981 to January 1997, October 1997 to current year. Unpublished records available March 1981 to September 1987, October 1997 to September 2011 in files of the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality - Water Division.
GAGE - Electronic data logger, 15 minute record interval. October 1997 to June 2012, occasional measurement with chalked tape by Virginia Department of Environmental Quality - Water Division personnel. November 1985 to January 1997, continuous strip-chart recorder. Prior to November 1985, occasional measurement with chalked tape by Virginia Department of Environmental Quality - Water Division personnel.

REMARKS - Well is located in Yorktown-Eastover aquifer of Miocene-Pliocene age. Water levels affected by local pumpage.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level recorded, 10.28 ft below land-surface datum, Apr. 2, 1990; lowest recorded, 56.75 ft below land-surface datum, Aug. 4, 2012.
