LOCATION - Lat 37°50'05.61", long 76°18'31.45" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Northumberland County, VA, Hydrologic Unit 02080102, 2.2 mi southwest of Reedville, 1.46 mi southwest of intersection of State Highway 646 and Fox Point Rd.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 737.31 ft. Upper casing diameter 4 in; top of first opening 717.31 ft, bottom of last opening 737.31 ft. Screened 717.31 to 737.31 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 9 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: TOP OF CASING, 1.30 ft above land-surface datum, Mar. 8, 2010 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - March 2009 to current year.
GAGE - Electronic data logger and pressure transducer, 15-minute record interval. Prior to March 24, 2010, occasional measurement with chalked tape by Virginia Department of Environmental Quality - Water Division personnel.
COOPERATION - Records provided by the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality - Water Division.
REMARKS - Well is located in Brightseat-Upper Potomac aquifer of Cretaceous-Paleocene age.
