LOCATION - Lat 35°50'31.12", long 81°24'32.64" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Caldwell County, NC, Hydrologic Unit 03050101, 3.4 mi east of Granite Falls, NC.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 42 ft. Upper casing diameter 4 in; top of first opening 27 ft, bottom of last opening 37 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 1,276.5 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: UNKNOWN MP HISTORY - AQ MIG, 2.82 ft above land-surface datum, Sep. 15, 2010 to Mar. 12, 2011; Rim of casing, 2.61 ft above land-surface datum, Mar. 14, 2011 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - September 2010 to current year. Continuous record March 2011 to current year. PRECIPITATION: March 2011 to October 2022, published as station 355031081243245.

REMARKS - Well is part of the Catawba-Wateree Drought Monitoring Network. As a result of the water table effects in this unconfined aquifer setting, water levels are recorded above land surface at times.
