LOCATION - Lat 27°58'48.7", long 82°47'46.3" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.9, T.29 S., R.15 E., Pinellas County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03100207, 0.9 mi north of State Highway 60, and 1.0 mi north of City Hall at Clearwater.
REVISIONS HISTORY - All datum elevations and field measurements above NGVD 1929 and NAVD 1988 prior to April 5, 2022 were revised on July 6, 2022 based on more accurate datum elevations.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 208 ft. Upper casing diameter 10 in; top of first opening 54 ft, bottom of last opening 208 ft. Drilled, unused, artesian well.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 32.44 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929 and 31.58 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: Top of recorder shelter floor, 33.61 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Jan. 1, 1966 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - March 1946 to September 1983; October 1983 to December 1990 (periodic); January 1991 to current year. Records of water levels prior to January 1974 are not published but are available in files of the Geological Survey.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder--15-minute interval.
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with Southwest Florida Water Management District.
REMARKS - Water level affected by tidal fluctuations.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level, 8.38 ft NGVD 29, Sept. 15, 1959; lowest measured, 3.90 ft NGVD 29, May 18, 1984.
