LOCATION - Lat 27°16'16", long 82°24'03.6" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SE 1/4 SE 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.9, T.37 S., R.19 E., Sarasota County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03100201, 20 ft. east of Bee Ridge Road, 1.0 mi north of State Highway 72, and 9.0 mi southeast of Sarasota, FL.
REVISIONS HISTORY - All datum elevations and field measurements above NGVD 1929 and NAVD 1988 prior to June 1, 2022 were revised on August 10, 2022 based on more accurate datum elevations.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 446 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening 104 ft, bottom of last opening 446 ft. Drilled, observation, artesian well.
DATUM -  Land-surface datum is 34.09 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929 and 33.02 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: Top of recorder shelter floor, 37.08 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Feb. 22, 1977 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - March 1974 to December 1974 (periodic); January 1975 to current year. Records of water levels prior to October 1975 are not published but are available in files of the Geological Survey.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder--15-minute interval.
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with Southwest Florida Water Management District.
REMARKS - Water level affected by pumping of nearby irrigation wells.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level measured, 24.15 ft NGVD, Mar. 7, 1978; lowest recorded, -21.22 ft NGVD, May 23, 2023.
