- Water-Year Summary reports summarize a year of hydrologic data in a printer-friendly format.
- For water years 2014 onward, choose a water year and parameter and an on-demand Water-Year Summary report will be generated.
- For water years 2006 through 2013, choose a water year and an Annual Water Data Report will be provided.
- For water years 2005 and earlier, Annual Water Data Reports may be available in digital format.
- Not all sites have reports available for every water year.

LOCATION - Lat 45°43'29.38", long 114°16'56.26" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SE 1/4 NE 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.26, T.1 S., R.22 W., Ravalli County, MT, Hydrologic Unit 17010205, on right bank 0.6 mi downstream from Painted Rocks Lake, 6.4 mi upstream from Nez Perce Creek, 16.1 mi southwest of Conner, and at river mile 19.2.
DRAINAGE AREA - 317 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - Water Supply Paper 1246: Drainage area. Date for maximum discharge and maximum gage height for water year 2017 were revised on April 2, 2020, based on findings from a routine record audit.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - April 1941 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 4,581.36 ft, referenced to the National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929 (U.S. Forest Service bench mark).
REMARKS - Flow completely regulated by Painted Rocks Lake (completed in 1939) for supplementary
irrigation in Bitterroot valley. Instream flow also regulated by Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife, and
Parks to support aquatic, riparian, and terrestrial resources downstream from the dam.
