LOCATION - Lat 32°41'42", long 97°26'49" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Tarrant County, TX, Hydrologic Unit 12030102, on upstream side of bridge, 0.75 mi north of I-20 on Winscott Road in Benbrook, 0.125 mi downstream from confluence with Walnut Creek and 1.3 mi upstream from confluence with Clear Fork Trinity River.
DRAINAGE AREA - 54 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - May 1998 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 604.97 ft above NGVD of 1929; 605.04 ft above NAVD of 1988. Satellite telemeter at station.
REMARKS - Discharges greater than 3,000 ft³s are considered poor. Some records listed in the "Period of Record" for surface water may not be available electronically. No known regulation. Low flow is affected at times by diversions from small dams upstream. No flow at times most years.

INSTRUMENTATION - An In-Situ Aqua Troll 600 water-quality monitor is collecting data from January 2023 to current year. Water-Quality equipment is housed in a separate gaging structure from surface water, upstream of bridge approximately 80 yards. The continuous monitor is deployed in a bank-mounted deployment tube, which is tied to a SatLink 2 DCP.
REMARKS - Interruptions or periods of missing record may be due to instrument failure or data corrections exceeding allowable criteria, which were deleted. Minimum and maximum extremes may have occurred during period of missing record. Some records listed in the Period of Record may not be available electronically.
