LOCATION - Lat 43°01'28", long 87°53'54" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SW 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.33, T.7 N., R.22 E., Milwaukee County, WI, Hydrologic Unit 04040003, south side of channel, at the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District Jones Island Water Reclamation Facility.
DRAINAGE AREA - 872 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - April 1994 to October 1995, October 2001 to September 2003, May 2006 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Up-looking acoustical velocity meter system. Datum of gage is 571.05 ft above NAVD of 1988 (GNSS).
REMARKS - Records are estimated and considered poor. Prior to 2016, discharge records for daily mean flow of less then 2,000 cubic feet per second were estimated from sum of discharges measured at upstream stations 04087000, 04087120, and 04087159, plus the sum of 04087120 and 04087159 discharges multiplied by an area/basin ratio of 0.229. For those estimated days instantaneous velocity and discharge data are available but the data were determined not to have the accuracy needed to compute the mean daily flow. For records status prior to October 1, 2013, see remarks printed in annual water-data reports. Gage-height telemeter at station.
