03568933 LOOKOUT CREEK NEAR NEW ENGLAND, GA
LOCATION - Lat 34°53'48.7", long 85°27'48.7" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Dade County, GA, Hydrologic Unit 06020001, at bridge on County Road 2214, 0.4 miles downstream of Squirrel Town Creek, 2.2 miles southeast of New England.
DRAINAGE AREA - 146 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - Drainage area was revised on May 8, 2023, based on a more accurate determination of the drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD -
DISCHARGE: August 1979 to current year.
GAGE HEIGHT: October 1998 to current year.
GAGE - Satellite telemetry with a water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 664.01 feet above the North American Vertical Datum (NAVD) of 1988. From August 30, 1979 to October 4, 1988, a water-stage recorder was located at a site 200 feet downstream at the same datum.
COOPERATION - Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Environmental Protection Divison.
REMARKS - Gage-height records are generally good. Discharge records are generally fair except for estimated discharges, which are poor.  Additional details on the accuracy of the records can be obtained by contacting the USGS South Atlantic Water Science Center at gs-w-ga_nwisweb_data_inquiries@usgs.gov.
