03086500 Mahoning River at Alliance, OH
LOCATION - Lat 40°55'58", long 81°05'41" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Stark County, OH, Hydrologic Unit 05030103, on the right bank 15 ft upstream from Webb Avenue Bridge in Alliance, 0.2 mi upstream from waterworks dam and 4 mi upstream from Beech Creek.
DRAINAGE AREA - 89.2 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WSP 1907: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Continuous discharge gage, August 1941 to September 1993; recording crest-stage gage, October 1994 to Sept. 30, 2007; water temperature, November 2010 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and concrete dam. Datum of the gage is 1,034.79 ft (NAVD 1988). Prior to July 2015, datum of gage was 1,035.30 ft (1912 adjustment). Prior to Aug. 22, 2015 the gage datum was 2 ft higher at 1,037.30 ft (1912 adjustment).
COOPERATION - Peak stage only station, maintained with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District.
REMARKS -

Flow slightly regulated by a reservoir 9.3 mi upstream from station. Water-quality data collected at this site 1965 to 1977. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers satellite telemeter at station.
