LOCATION - Lat 33°08'23.3", long 84°58'31.4" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Troup County, GA, Hydrologic Unit 03130002, at bridge on Hammett Rd, 6.9 mi upstream from confluence with Beech Creek, 0.7 mi downstream from confluence with Flat Creek, and 5.8 mi southwest of Hogansville.
DRAINAGE AREA - 91 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS

DISCHARGE: October 1978 to September 1985, Water years 1991-1992 and 2003-2008 (annual maximum), May 2009 to current year.
GAGE HEIGHT: May 2009 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with satellite telemetry. Datum of gage is 640.99 feet above North American Vertical Datum (NAVD) of 1988 (from GNSS survey). September 1978 to November 1985, March 1991 to December 1992, October 2003 to April 2009, crest-stage gage at same site and datum.

REMARKS - Gage-height records are generally good. Discharge records are generally fair except for estimated discharges, which are poor.
