LOCATION - Lat 33°31'35", long 84°56'12.2" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Carroll County, GA, Hydrologic Unit 03130002, 0.39 miles from confluence with Guthrie Creek, 10.42 miles from confluence with Chattahoochee River, and 2.7 miles west of Whitesburg, GA.
DRAINAGE AREA - 34.6 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - Revised maximum discharges and gage-height for water years 2008-2013; revised figures of daily discharge and gage-height for water years, 2008 to 2013.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD -
DISCHARGE: February 2008 to current year.
GAGE HEIGHT: February 2008 to current year.
GAGE - Satellite telemetry with a water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 890 feet above National Geodetic Vertical Datum (NGVD) of 1929 (from topographic map).
COOPERATION - Carroll County.
REMARKS - Gage-height records are generally good. Discharge records are generally fair except for estimated discharges, which are poor. Flow regulated by earthen Dam at Snake Creek Reservoir. Some flow bypassed the gage during the flood of September 2009 when the Dam was over-topped.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum gage-height recorded, 17.01 feet, September 21, 2009; minimum daily discharge, 2.3 cfs, August 20-23, 2008.
