  • Water-Year Summary reports summarize a year of hydrologic data in a printer-friendly format.
  • For water years 2014 onward, choose a water year and parameter and an on-demand Water-Year Summary report will be generated.
  • For water years 2006 through 2013, choose a water year and an Annual Water Data Report will be provided.
  • For water years 2005 and earlier, Annual Water Data Reports may be available in digital format.
  • Not all sites have reports available for every water year.

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD -
GAGE HEIGHT: June 2014 to current year.
GAGE - Satellite telemetry with a water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is the North American Vertical Datum (NAVD) of 1988 (levels by U.S. Geological Survey).
COOPERATION - U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District.
REMARKS - Gage-height records are generally good. Additional details on the accuracy of the records can be obtained by contacting the USGS South Atlantic Water Science Center at gs-w-ga_nwisweb_data_inquiries@usgs.gov.

Gage height affected significantly by astronomical tides.

CLIMATOLOGICAL RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - November 2013 to current year.
INSTRUMENTATION - Tipping-bucket raingage.
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS
PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD -

SPECIFIC CONDUCTANCE: November 2013 to current year.
pH: November 2013 to current year.
WATER TEMPERATURE: November 2013 to current year.
SALINITY: November 2013 to current year.

COOPERATION - U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District.
REMARKS -

For period 11/05/2013-11/01/2017: Specific Conductance and Water Temperature are rated "good". pH is rated good, except for the period 10/01/2015-09/30/2017, which is rated fair.  Computed Salinity records are rated good for days in which values could be computed; there are many missing values due to input specific conductance values being less than the low end of the salinity rating.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD -

SPECIFIC CONDUCTANCE: Maximum recorded, 6,240 microsiemens, September 11, 2017; minimum recorded, 38 microsiemens, June 13, 2019.

pH: Maximum recorded, 7.5 units, on August 19, 2016, September 23, 2022; minimum recorded, 5.8 units occurred on several days.

WATER TEMPERATURE: Maximum recorded, 31.0 C, July 30, 2016, August 16, 2016; minimum recorded, 3.7 C, January 5, 2018.

SALINITY: Maximum recorded, 3.40 parts-per-thousand, September 11, 2017; minimum recorded, <0.04 parts-per-thousand, on many days during the period of record.
