LOCATION - Lat 32°20'58", long 81°07'30" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Jasper County, SC, Hydrologic Unit 03060109, on canal near Bride Point at Jasper-Beaufort Water Authority pump house, 14 mi upstream from Abercorn Creek, and 7 mi northwest of Hardeeville, SC.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1987 to current year.
GAGE -

Data collection platform. Datum of gage is 0.58 ft below NAVD of 1988. Records prior to October 1, 1987 are available through the U.S. Geological Survey, Georgia District. Prior to May 30, 1990, at a site 2.0 mi downstream at same datum.

On March 13, 2019, a secondary gage was temporarily installed on a channel diverter on the main stem of the Savannah River. The secondary gage contained a Sutron Satlink 3 and a YSI EXO 3 sonde (measuring WT, SC, and PE). The purpose of the gage was to monitor the dissemination of injected oxygen into the Savannah River using fluorometric dye tracing techniques during two nine-month periods from March to December 2019.  All equipment was removed from this secondary gage 12/18/19.
