LOCATION - Lat 35°24'13", long 80°52'58" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Mecklenburg County, NC, Hydrologic Unit 03050101, at Bradford Hill Lane, 2.4 mi west of Huntersville, NC
DRAINAGE AREA - 7.29 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - The datum was revised because the original NAVD88 datum was found to be in error by the Level II GNSS survey that was performed by USGS personnel on November 17, 2022.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - August 2007 to July 2010, November 2010 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 663.89 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Satellite telemetry at streamgage.
REMARKS - This site shares a floodplain with a tributary to the site, streamflow at this site is augmented by contributing tributary flows once bankfull elevation is exceeded. Streamflows greater than about 270 ft³/sec (7.24 ft gage height) are not measured at this gage and are not accounted for in the computed streamflow record. Streamgage temporarily removed July 27, 2010, due to stream restoration project and remained inactive through November 17, 2010.

Gage-height records are generally good. Discharge records are generally fair except for estimated discharges, which are poor. Additional details on the accuracy of the records can be obtained by contacting the USGS South Atlantic Water Science Center at gs-w-nc_nwisweb_data_inquiries@usgs.gov.
