- For water years 2014 onward, choose a water year and parameter and an on-demand Water-Year Summary report will be generated.
- For water years 2006 through 2013, choose a water year and an Annual Water Data Report will be provided.
- For water years 2005 and earlier, Annual Water Data Reports may be available in digital format.

LOCATION - Lat 37°39'45", long 77°15'29" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Hanover County, VA, Hydrologic Unit 02080106, on right bank at downstream side of bridge on State Highway 606, 2.0 mi southeast of Studley, 2.4 mi downstream from Hawes millrace, and 4.1 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 25.5 mi².

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1977 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 37.264 ± 0.1 ft above NAVD 88.
COOPERATION - Records were provided by the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality - Water Division.
REMARKS - Maximum discharge, 11,300 ft³/s, from rating curve extended above 2,040 ft³/s. Several measurements of water temperature were made during the year. Water-quality records for some prior periods have been collected at this location.
