LOCATION - Lat 41°01'07", long 76°51'55" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Union County, PA, Hydrologic Unit 02050206, on right bank, 50 feet upstream from State Route 642 bridge, at West Milton, and 11.2 miles upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 6,825 mi².  
REVISIONS HISTORY - Revisions: The datum of gage was erroneously reported as 460 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929 is some sources prior to March 15, 2024.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Operated as a Continuous Record, Annual Peak site (Annual maximum only) from water year 1996 to Apr 1, 1997. Stage only site Apr 1, 1997 to Sep 30, 2017 (record not published). Stage record only published Oct 1, 2017 to present.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder, crest-stage gage, and weighing bucket precipitation gage. Datum of gage is 433.26 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (from benchmark). Prior to March 9, 1999 the datum of gage was reported as 432.45 ft above sea level. Prior to March 15, 2024, the datum of gage was reported as 434.00 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929 (NGVD29) or erroneously reported as 460 ft above NGVD29 depending on source.  Satellite and landline telemetry at station.
COOPERATION - Station established and maintained by the U.S. Geological Survey in cooperation with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and Union County.
REMARKS - The streamgage cannot record stream levels below a stage of about 1.00 foot.
