LOCATION - Lat 41°50'33", long 77°16'25" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Tioga County, PA, Hydrologic Unit 02050104, at single-span bridge on Township Route 586 at Middlebury Center.
DRAINAGE AREA - 74.3 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - Revisions: Discharge for the period May 7, 2019, to Jan 23, 2020, was revised on Feb 21, 2020, based on changes to the shifted stage-discharge rating.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - 1986 to Sep 2018 operated as a Continuous Record, Annual Peak site (Annual maximum only). Oct 2018 to present, continuous discharge site.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder, crest-stage gage, and weighing bucket precipitation gage. Datum of gage is 1,099.56 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (from benchmark). Prior to March 13, 2024, the datum of gage was reported as 1100.00 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929.  Satellite and landline telemetry at station.
COOPERATION - Station established and maintained by the U.S. Geological Survey in cooperation with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District.
REMARKS - Daily discharge not available prior to Oct 2018. Records are good except those for periods of estimated discharge, which are poor.
