- For water years 2014 onward, choose a water year and parameter and an on-demand Water-Year Summary report will be generated.
- For water years 2006 through 2013, choose a water year and an Annual Water Data Report will be provided.
- For water years 2005 and earlier, Annual Water Data Reports may be available in digital format.
- Not all sites have reports available for every water year.

LOCATION - Lat 40°41'37.75", long 76°09'53.84" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Schuylkill County, PA, Hydrologic Unit 02040203, 100 ft upstream of confluence with Schuylkill River at Port Carbon.
DRAINAGE AREA - 25.5 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - September 15, 2005 to August 18, 2007; March 1, 2008 to July 15, 2010 (discontinued).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 610 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, from topographic map.
COOPERATION - Station established and maintained by the U.S. Geological Survey in cooperation with the Schuylkill Headwaters Association and the Schuylkill Conservation District.
REMARKS - Records good except estimated days, which are poor.
ECOLOGICAL RECORDS
REMARKS - A fish community survey was conducted at Schuylkill River above Mill Creek at Port Carbon, PA (01467471) on October 19, 2005, October 4, 2006, September 23, 2008 and September 24, 2009. Fish were collected by electrofishing with a pulsed-DC current. A single electrofishing pass was conducted in an upstream pattern covering the 100-meter reach. Fish were identified, sorted by species, measured for total length, weighed, and checked for external anomalies. Additional information can be obtained from the U.S. Geological Survey, New Cumberland, Pa.
Explanation of table-- Fish family species are in uppercase; names in italics; and common names are in parentheses. Common names follow those of the American Fisheries Society (1991). Dates of the electrofishing survey are listed, with number of individuals surveyed listed in the column under the date
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 2001 to March 2016.
PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD - WATER TEMPERATURE: October 2007 to June 21, 2010 (discontinued).
INSTRUMENTATION - Submersible in-situ pressure transducer interfaced with an electronic data logger. Continuous water temperature record taken from transducer beginning in September 2006. Water temperature of water-quality samples measured with multiparameter sonde.
REMARKS - Water temperature records rated fair. Some values for filtered parameters exceed values for the corresponding unfiltered parameter. These results are within the limits of analytical precision and methods. Station operated as part of the Schuylkill RGI/Pine Knot AMD project.
