LOCATION - Lat 40°15'06.63", long 75°00'31.35" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Bucks County, PA, Hydrologic Unit 02040201, on left bank at bridge over main stem of Neshaminy Creek on Second Street Pike (Rt. 232) at Penns Park, Pa.
DRAINAGE AREA - 157 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 2018 to present (continuous-record station); October 2001 to September 2018 (crest-stage partial-record station).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 120 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, from topographic map. Satellite and landline telemetry at station.
COOPERATION - Station established and maintained by the U.S. Geological Survey in cooperation with the Bucks County Commissioners.
REMARKS - Peak stage and discharge can be obtained by accessing Surface-water: Peak streamflow from the SUMMARY OF ALL AVAILABLE DATA. Water years 2014-2018 peak rated fair. Records for water years 2019-2022 rated fair except for estimated discharge, which is poor. Records for water year 2023 rated fair except for Sept 15-30 and estimated discharge, which is poor.
