WATER-QUALITY RECORDS
PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD - SPECIFIC CONDUCTANCE: October 2019 to current year. WATER TEMPERATURE: October 2019 to current year. TURBIDITY: August 2020 to September 2023.
COOPERATION - Funding for the operation of this station is provided by the U.S. Geological Survey.
INSTRUMENTATION - Specific conductance, turbidity (discontinued Oct 10, 2023), and water temperature sonde interfaced with a data collection platform, logging at 15-minute interval.
REMARKS - The reporting precision of the turbidity probe in low turbidity water is +/-0.3 FNU. The lowest reportable value, 0 FNU, is subject to this error and does not necessarily indicate a condition of zero turbidity. Turbidity values greater than 1000 FNU are beyond the specification of the sensor and are considered unreliable. Interruptions in the record were due to malfunctions of the equipment.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - SPECIFIC CONDUCTANCE: Maximum, 1960 microsiemens/cm, Jan 17, 2022 (road salt); minimum, 93 microsiemens/cm, Aug 4, 2020. WATER TEMPERATURE: Maximum, 23.9 °C, Aug 2, 2020; minimum, 0.9 °C, Feb 1, 2021. TURBIDITY: Maximum, 292 FNU, Dec 25, 2020; minimum, 0 FNU, Aug 21, 2020.
