01451000 LEHIGH RIVER AT WALNUTPORT, PA
LOCATION - Lat 40°45'25", long 75°36'12" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Northampton County, PA, Hydrologic Unit 02040106, on left bank 0.3 mi upstream from bridge on SR 4022 at Walnutport, and 0.4 mi upstream from Trout Creek.
DRAINAGE AREA - 889 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1946 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 349.53 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988.  Satellite and landline telemetry at station. Prior to October 15, 2022, datum was published as 350.27 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. 
COOPERATION - Station established and maintained by the U.S. Geological Survey. Funding for this station is provided by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and the U.S. Geological Survey through the National Streamflow Information Program.
REMARKS - Flow regulated by Wild Creek Reservoir (station 01449700) since January 1941, Penn Forest Reservoir (station 01449400) since October 1958, Francis E. Walter Reservoir (station 01447780) since February 1961, and Beltzville Lake (station 01449790) since February 1971. Records for water years 2014-2017 are good except those for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Records for water year 2018 are fair except those for estimated discharges, which are poor. Records for water years 2019-2020 and 2022 are good except those for estimated discharge, which is poor. Records for water years 2021 and 2023 are fair except those for estimated discharge, which is poor. 
EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum stage known, 20.6 ft, May 23, 1942, from floodmarks, discharge not determined.
