LOCATION - Lat 41°34'21", long 74°47'00" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Sullivan County, NY, Hydrologic Unit 02040104, at dam on Mongaup River, and 1.8 mi northwest of Fowlersville.
DRAINAGE AREA - 116 mi². excluding Cliff Lake, Lebanon Lake, and Toronto Reservoir.

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - January 1930 to September 2013 (month-end elevations and contents). October 2013 to current year (daily observation elevations).
GAGE - Nonrecording gage read daily. Datum of gage is NGVD of 1929 (levels by Orange and Rockland Utilities, Inc.).
COOPERATION - Elevation record and capacity table (1952) provided by Eagle Creek Renewable Energy.
REMARKS - Reservoir is formed by an earthfill dam. Storage began Jan. 19, 1930. Usable capacity, 1,436.6 mil ft³ between elevations 1,010.0 ft, minimum operating pool, and 1,071.2 ft, top of flashboards. Capacity below elevation 1,010.0 ft, minimum operating pool, about 212.7 mil ft³. Figures given herein represent usable contents above 1,010.0 ft. Reservoir is used for storage of water for power. Water is received from Cliff Lake, Lebanon Lake, and Toronto Reservoir. The reservoir level was lowered 40 ft due to a sinkhole discovered on May 25, 2005. The sinkhole was repaired and the reservoir refilled by July 2007.
