LOCATION - Lat 40°36'54", long 74°25'54" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, North Plainfield Boro, Somerset County, NJ, Hydrologic Unit 02030105, on downstream left wingwall of bridge on Sycamore Avenue in Plainfield and 1.0 mi upstream from Stony Brook.
DRAINAGE AREA - 9.75 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - On Feb 11, 2020, gage height and discharge for the 2016 water year peak were revised.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Continuous-record gaging station, water years 1938-84. Annual maximum, water years 1985 to current year.
GAGE - Crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 70.37 ft above NGVD of 1929.
