Some releases from Round Valley Reservoir enter stream upstream from gage. Occasional regulation due to gate operation at Ravine Lake, 13.8 mi upstream.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 29,000 ft³/s, Sep 16, 1999, gage height, 18.98 ft; minimum discharge, 3.0 ft³/s, Nov 28, 1930, as a result of probable temporary regulation.
