LOCATION - Lat 41°43'10.47", long 73°17'33.37" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Litchfield County, CT, Hydrologic Unit 01100005, on upstream side of Peter's Dam, 0.2 mi downstream from Shepaug Reservoir Dam, at end of Reservoir Rd., 1 mi north of Woodville.
DRAINAGE AREA - 38.1 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR CT-08-1: 2001-2007 (P), 2006-2007 (DV, total discharge, monthly discharge, maximum daily discharge, minimum daily discharge).
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - August 2000 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder, crest-stage gage and rectangular, sharp-crested weir. Datum of gage is 766.45 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Satellite telemetry at station.
COOPERATION - Connecticut Dept. of Energy and Environmental Protection.
REMARKS -

Flow regulated by Shepaug Reservoir.

Water Year 2014-2016: Records good except for periods of estimated daily discharges, which are fair.
Water Year 2017: Records good except for periods of shifting control due to beaver activity from Dec 7, 2016 to Mar. 8, 2017, which are poor.
Water Year 2018: Records good.
Water Year 2019-2020: Records considered good, except for periods of estimated discharge, which are poor.
