LOCATION - Lat 43°11'30", long 72°29'08" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Windham County, VT, Hydrologic Unit 01080107, Lat 43°11'30.8", long 72°29'08.2" on left bank, 50 ft downstream from Parker Hill Road bridge, 0.2 mi downstream from Divoll Brook, 0.35 mi northeast of Rockingham, 2.2 mi upstream from mouth, 2.2 mi downstream of Station 01153500, "Williams River at Brockways Mills", and 4.5 mi northwest of Bellows Falls.
DRAINAGE AREA - 112 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR-US-2011: 1987(M), 1988(M), 1990(M), 1992(M), 1993(M), 1996(P), 1998(M), 1999(P), 2000(M), 2004(M), 2005(M), 2006(P).
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Discharge records: October 1986 to current year. Peak streamflow: Water years 1987 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 303.26 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988.

REMARKS - Water Years 2014-2023: Records good except for estimated discharges, which are poor. Low flow regulated by power plant upstream October 1986 to September 1992 and August 2002 to present.
EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Flood in September 1938 had greatest discharge since at least 1753.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge 21,300 ft³/s, August 28, 2011, gage height, 17.94 ft, from rating curve extended above 3,800 ft³/s on basis of slope-area measurement of peak flow at gage height 17.94 ft.
