LOCATION - Lat 42°11'25", long 70°56'43" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Norfolk County, MA, Hydrologic Unit 01090001, on left bank between divided lanes of State Highway 3, about 50 ft downstream from unnamed tributary, 0.4 mi upstream from Whitmans Pond, and 1.2 mi north of South Weymouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 4.50 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - 1994 MA-RI ADR, annual peak discharge.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Discharge: May 1966 to current year. Water-quality records: Water years 1967-68, 1999-2000.
GAGE - Data Collection Platform with satellite telemeter. Datum of gage is 69.21 ft above NAVD 1988, estimated from topographic map. Prior to May 12, 2020, datum reported as 70 ft above NGVD 1929, estimated from topographic map.
COOPERATION - Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, Office of Water Resources.
REMARKS - Records good except those for estimated daily discharges, which are poor.

Maximum peak flow May 31, 1984, 590 cfs based on rating extended above 100 cfs, at gage height of 5.02ft(same datum as current gage but at different location).
