LOCATION - Lat 43°06'09", long 70°57'11" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Strafford County, NH, Hydrologic Unit 01060003, on right bank, 200 ft upstream from Packers Falls and Packer Falls Road, 1.8 mi northwest of Newmarket Town Hall, 2.6 mi southwest of Durham, and 4.6 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 185 mi². from automated delineation using 30-meter National Elevation Dataset digital elevation model data and Watershed Boundary Dataset, accessed December 6, 2012 at http://water.usgs.gov/osw/streamstats/.
