LOCATION - Lat 44°48'03", long 67°43'30" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Washington County, ME, Hydrologic Unit 01050002, on left bank, 0.9 mi southwest of the confluence with Machias River.

DRAINAGE AREA - 6.42 mi². Drainage Area (station description): Derived from automated delineation using 2-meter lidar data provided by USGS 3D Elevation Program, dated 01/01/2020, using North American Datum of 1983 Albers projection and North American Vertical Datum of 1988. REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR-US-2007-1: 2002(P), 2005(P), 2006(P). Gage height and discharge data for the period Oct. 31, 2018 to Apr. 1, 2019 were revised on July 15, 2020. As a seasonal gage, record during the winter months was erroneously available on NWISWeb, and was deleted. Drainage area revised on May 16, 2024, previously published as 7.79 sq miles. Datum of gage was revised on Jun. 14, 2024 from 133.16 ft to 132.81 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988, based on updated geodetic survey.
