Number 223.
OWNER.--U.S. Geological Survey.
AQUIFER.--Shale and sandstone of lower member of
Waynesburg Formation of Late Pennsylvanian and Early Permian age.
WELL CHARACTERISTICS.--Drilled observation well,
diameter 6 in., depth 104 ft, cased to 22 ft, open hole.
INSTRUMENTATION.--Data collection platform with
60-minute recording interval. Satellite telemetry at station.
DATUM.--Elevation of land surface is 1,006 ft above
North American Vertical Datum of 1988, from Lidar. Measuring point: Top
of casing, 1.40 ft above land-surface datum.
REMARKS.--Water level in well is affected by escaping
air bubbles that cause level to be unsteady. Daily maximum, minimum,
and mean water levels are available from the District Office.
