WELL CHARACTERISTICS.--Depth 721 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening 711 ft, bottom of last opening 721 ft.  
DATUM.--Land-surface datum is 8.82 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: Top of casing, 20.01 ft above land-surface datum, 30.01 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Jun. 3, 1965 to Feb. 6, 2024; Top of blue casing, 30.162 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Feb. 6, 2024 to May 7, 2024; Top of blue casing, 29.01 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988, May 7, 2024 to present.  
PERIOD OF RECORD.--February 1968 to current year. Unpublished records for November 1962 to September 1975 are available in files of the U.S. Geological Survey.
GAGE.--Water-level recorder installed October 1994 to March 2000, May 2001 to March 2009, September 2009 to current year. Periodic manual measurements made by USGS personnel.
REMARKS.--Water level affected by tidal fluctuation. Water-level recorded on October 29, 2012 attributed to tidal forcing from Hurricane Sandy storm tide. Cellular water-level telemeter at station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Highest water level recorded, 12.57 ft above NAVD of 1988 (13.72 ft above NGVD of 1929), Oct. 29, 2012; lowest measured, 4.20 ft above NAVD of 1988 (5.35 ft above NGVD of 1929), Feb. 23, 1972.
